I have been working for Irish HomeCare for just over 8 years. I love my job and love helping and caring for people.
Recently, I decided to take a step up to Service Team Leader in the Finglas /Glasnevin area.
I get to help all the carers I’ve worked with over the years and help any new carers that join as I have a lot of experience in the area. I can also keep in touch with my Clients and help them with anything they need.

I love the flexibility of my care calls. My manager Sinead is amazing. She is so supportive. What I love the most about working for Irish Homecare is my clients. I have a great relationship with them all.

What I love most about my role, is that I get use my own experiences, having previously been a carer, to support and supervise such a wonderful, dynamic team of carers.
Irish HomeCare gave me the opportunity to further my qualifications and to continuously learn. I also got the opportunity to progress within the company throughout my 9 years here. I progressed from carer to Service Team Leader and this is also an incentive to other carers. Irish HomeCare promote from within and encourage their team members to develop professionally and grow in their careers.
What I love most about the Service Team Leader role is that I still get to work alongside clients while encouraging and leading a fantastic group of carers.
