Regional Healthcare Tutor/Recruiter – Cork

You will be based in our Cork office with the requirement to travel to other sites as needed.

Position Overview:

The tutor/regional recruiter is responsible for providing training and development to all staff in order to ensure they have the correct knowledge and skills to complete their role, this will include new appointments to the company. The tutor/regional recruiter will also be responsible for the sourcing, screening, interviewing and updating of the CRM system as well as working alongside the centralised carer compliance team.

Essential Criteria

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the following

  • Train the trainer qualification level 6 or above
  • Healthcare qualification level 5 or above
  • Computer literacy to intermediate level
  • 2 years+ experience in working in a healthcare environment
  • Full driving licence and access to a car
  • Basic knowledge of recruitment & HR

Desirable Criteria

The successful candidate must be willing to undertake training for the role where the following has not been demonstrated

  • Manual & patient handling instructors qualification level 6 or above
  • Experience in screening and interviewing candidates.
  • Experience in teaching health and social care topics
  • Experience in managing sensitive workloads with knowledge of GDPR.

Principal Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

  • Deliver effective training to all learners to ensure they receive the correct knowledge and training for their job role.
  • Screen application and organise interviews
  • Interview candidates following the job specification and book into training courses.
  • Communicating directly with the learners, colleagues and others
  • Updating and marking learner work on the LMS system.
  • Accurate recording of learner information and learner progress onto required reports
  • Timely reporting and follow-up of learner concerns, complaints or other significant issues.
  • Liaise with your line manager and the commercial team to ascertain areas needed for recruitment growth/replacements.
  • Source candidates through hyper local, college/university talks, open days etc.
  • Attain and exceed targets and KPIs.
  • Establish and maintain relationships to develop and grow the Irish HomeCare business.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with learners to ensure they are treated fairly and given fair access to courses in line with quality assurance.
