Irish HomeCare unveils New Corporate HQ in Monaghan

Leading home care provider invests for the future

Irish HomeCare, a leading national provider of home care in Ireland, has this week officially opened their new Corporate Headquarters in Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan. This investment sees the company confirm their commitment to the north-east in the long term, providing many employment opportunities in both frontline care roles and office-based staff. The event was attended by Minister for Social Protection, Heather Humphreys TD, who is also the local representative for the Cavan/Monaghan region, along with Cllr Aidan Campbell. Minister Humphreys addressed an audience of over 80 people at the event, which included Irish HomeCare staff, Carers and clients of the company.

Commenting on the opening, John Florence, Chief Executive Officer, Irish HomeCare, said:

“Irish HomeCare’s vision is to provide the best possible quality of life to everyone. In order for us to provide the highest-quality home care service, we need a permanent base to lead the company nationally. While our new corporate headquarters is based in Monaghan, we have 10 offices around the country providing our service in almost every county in Ireland.”

Acknowledging the company’s commitment, Minister for Social Protection, Heather Humphreys, TD, said:

“Irish HomeCare is one of the largest employers in the region with over 70 staff attached to their new Monaghan headquarters. They provide such an important service in our communities and I am delighted to be here to officially open their new building. We have an aging population and people have expressed a desire to stay in their own homes for longer. I wish Irish HomeCare the very best of luck for their continued growth in this industry.”

Mr Florence concluded:

“With over 850 staff nationally, caring for almost 2,000 clients, Irish HomeCare is a leader in delivering high-quality home care in our communities. Investments such as these go a long way to ensuring we can attract the best people into our organisation, who can provide the best care. I am proud of our achievements over the past 3 ½ years since I have become CEO and the future is in our hands.”

Irish HomeCare continues to recruit across the country with over 500 Carer roles available. The
